Parking
At the end of the Via Ferrata, there is parking available for your camper or car. From there, you walk towards the village and then down towards the start of the Via Ferrata (see photo).

Finding the start isn’t quite straightforward. From the village, head downhill towards the following coordinates (40.9272987, -7.9414727). Once you reach there, cross the bridge and immediately turn right after the first house. Between the houses, there’s a small narrow path leading upwards towards the start. You’ll recognize the start by the large yellow Via Ferrata sign.The route
The entire climb takes place along and over the waterfall.A stunning view of the waterfall is constantly beneath your feet!This route is classified with a difficulty level of K3. Because it’s well-maintained and equipped with many handholds, it’s manageable for beginners. Additionally, there are some sections along the way where you can walk or stand comfortably to enjoy the breathtaking view. You’ll also come across a very old cottage nestled in the waterfall. Along the way, you’ll encounter various obstacles including ladders, horizontal traverses, monkey bridges, and a bridge with stepping stones, all adding to the beauty of the journey. The bridges allow you to move from left to right and back over the waterfall.
